A Day in the Life of Our Registered Manager
As the Registered Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind safe, effective, and person-centred care across your services in London and the South East. You will lead by example, champion best practice, and ensure all services meet both our high internal standards and regulatory requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering Outstanding Care
Ensuring individuals across all services are empowered to make choices about their care and receive personalised support that promotes independence, dignity, and inclusion.
Overseeing care planning and delivery to meet the evolving needs of individuals with learning disabilities across supported living and domiciliary care settings.
Driving Quality & Compliance
Holding responsibility for the CQC registration for domiciliary care (Learning Disability) across London and the South East.
Ensuring all services operate in line with regulatory requirements and best practice, maintaining safe, effective, and well-led services.
Monitoring service quality and implementing improvements where required across multiple locations.
Leading & Developing Your Team
Directly line managing two Deputy Managers and supporting wider staff teams across the locality.
Recruiting, inducting, training, and developing staff to deliver high-quality care.
Providing ongoing supervision, leadership, and performance management to ensure teams perform at their best.
Ensuring Accountability & Transparency
Working collaboratively with the Locality Manager to ensure effective service delivery and continuous improvement.
Managing safeguarding concerns, incidents, and complaints with professionalism and in line with policy.
Ensuring accurate reporting, documentation, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
What We’re Looking For
- Right to work in the UK.
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager is highly desirable.
- Strong experience within Supported Living and Domiciliary Care services, particularly within the Learning Disability sector.
- Sound knowledge of the adult social care sector and regulatory frameworks.
- Proven leadership and management experience, with the ability to oversee multiple services and teams.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making skills.
- A flexible approach to working hours to meet the needs of the service.
The Role
- Permanent, full-time position.
- 42 hours per week, worked over 5 days.
- Flexibility required, including weekends, evenings, and Bank Holidays.
- This is a field- and office-based role, with working arrangements aligned to the needs of the service.
