Job Introduction
Agincare Enable is growing – and we’re looking for an exceptional leader to help us take the next step.
We exist to empower people with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and complex support requirements to live the fullest lives possible. To do this, we need outstanding leadership. That’s where you come in.
The Opportunity
As our Regional Operations Director for the North, you'll take strategic ownership of operational excellence, service growth, and high‑quality care delivery across your region. You’ll lead and inspire a team of Operations Managers, build strong external partnerships, and ensure we’re a provider of choice for commissioners, families and the people we support.
This is a pivotal senior leadership role where you’ll balance hands‑on visibility with strategic decision‑making—driving performance, fostering a culture of learning, and spearheading business development opportunities that shape our future.
If you’re passionate, commercially astute, and driven to make a meaningful difference, we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Lead & Deliver
Operational Excellence:
Champion a culture of safety, person‑centred practice and continuous improvement across all services, ensuring full regulatory compliance and exceptional outcomes.
High‑Performing Teams:
Provide strong, visible leadership—coaching, developing and empowering Operations Managers. You’ll ensure robust supervision, build future talent, and nurture a positive, accountable culture.
Business Growth:
Identify, pursue and deliver new service opportunities in line with the Enable business plan. You’ll drive occupancy, strengthen financial performance, and build long‑term sustainable growth.
Quality & Performance:
Maintain oversight of budgets, staffing, training compliance, safeguarding, risk management and quality assurance frameworks—ensuring services run safely, effectively and efficiently.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Cultivate trusting, strategic relationships with commissioners, families, care managers and community partners, enhancing our reputation and unlocking future growth.
Change Leadership:
Guide teams through transformation and organisational development, ensuring clarity, engagement and high‑quality implementation at every stage.
What We’re Looking For
You’ll be the kind of leader who brings energy, integrity and unwavering commitment to the people we support. You’ll also bring:
- Minimum of three years’ senior‑level experience within the care sector (preferably LD and MH services)
- Proven success managing P&L, budgets and operational targets
- Strong understanding of CQC standards, safeguarding, and sector regulations
- Demonstrable experience of driving service quality, staff performance and business growth
- Evidence of leading large, diverse teams with a coaching, inclusive leadership style
- Excellent communication, negotiation and partnership‑building skills
- A genuine passion for high‑quality care and positive outcomes
