Job Introduction
Come and join us at Agincare, where no two days are ever the same. As our new Communications & PR Executive, you won’t just be part of the team — you’ll be at the heart of our story. This is your opportunity to step into a fast-paced, creative environment where your ideas are valued, your voice is heard, and your work makes a real difference.
About the Role
At Agincare, no two days are the same. As our new Communications & PR Executive, you’ll be right at the heart of the action. From supporting national care campaigns to promoting our work with the D-Day Centre, Crabbers’ Wharf, and wider development projects, this is a role where variety, autonomy, and creativity meet real commercial impact.
Sitting within our Marketing Team and working alongside senior leaders, you’ll help drive the communications that power Agincare’s growth. From raising occupancy in our Care Homes, to boosting sales in Live-in Care, to delivering PR that connects with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders - your work will directly shape the way we’re seen and heard.
It’s fast-paced, exciting, and full-on. You’ll be a name and a face in the business, trusted to make decisions, lead on stories, and take an active role in major events.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver impactful comms – plan and execute PR and communications campaigns across care, community, and commercial projects.
- Support business growth – create comms that drive operational KPIs, from live-in care sales to care home occupancy.
- Champion our stories – bring to life everything from care milestones to local heritage projects like the D-Day Centre and Crabbers’ Wharf.
- Be the voice of Agincare – engage clients, colleagues, stakeholders, and the media with clear, consistent, and compelling messaging.
- Work at the core – sit with the Marketing team at the centre of the business, collaborating closely with senior leadership.
- Shine at events – play a hands-on role in launches, conferences, and big moments where our brand is on show.
- Own your space – enjoy the autonomy to shape campaigns, pitch ideas, and see them through from concept to impact.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in communications, PR, or marketing, ideally with a strong portfolio of work.
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills across different channels.
- Confident media handling and relationship-building skills.
- Organised, adaptable, and proactive, with the ability to juggle projects at pace.
- Comfortable working with senior leaders and external partners.
- Creative flair and commercial awareness — able to see both the story and the strategy.
What We Offer
- £28,000–£32,000 salary, depending on experience.
- The chance to own exciting projects across both care and wider community ventures.
- A role with autonomy, visibility, and variety — no two days the same.
- National Health & Blue Light discount schemes – savings on shopping, leisure, and travel.
- Employee Assistance Programme for you and your family.
- Clear career progression and professional development opportunities.
- Be part of a family-owned business with over 35 years of success and 4,500 colleagues nationwide.
