Job Introduction
Agincare is proudly celebrating 40 years of caring for communities. As one of the UK’s largest, family‑owned care providers, we continue to grow and innovate across our care homes, home care, live‑in care, extra care, supported living, and new not‑for‑profit Children’s Services. We are now looking for an exceptional Operations Project Lead to help drive key initiatives that shape the future of our services.
About the role
Working closely with our COO, the Operations Project Lead will play a central role in delivering high‑impact projects across Agincare’s care services. You’ll help maintain momentum, ensure milestones are met, and support teams to deliver projects on time, to the required standard, and within budget.
This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced role that requires strong sector knowledge—ideally within elderly care—alongside the confidence to influence others, build rapport quickly, and galvanise teams around shared goals. You’ll gather insight from senior stakeholders, track progress across multiple workstreams, identify risks, and support recovery plans where needed. Clear written communication is essential, as you’ll provide regular updates and reports to senior leaders.
If you thrive in a role where no two days are the same, enjoy working independently, and have the drive to turn plans into action, this could be the perfect next step.
What you’ll be doing
Working alongside the COO to plan, coordinate, and deliver operational initiatives
Tracking progress against milestones and supporting teams to resolve issues
Producing clear, concise reports and updates for senior stakeholders
Gathering information from operational leaders to support decision‑making
Ensuring projects are delivered on time, to standard, and within budget
Building strong relationships across services to support engagement and collaboration
Using care sector systems and technology confidently to support implementation and improvement
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings a blend of operational experience, sector understanding, and the confidence to influence and drive delivery.
You will have:
Strong operational experience within the elderly care sector
A solid understanding of care technology and digital systems
Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise reports
Strong organisational and time‑management skills, able to manage multiple workstreams
Confident influencing skills, with the ability to motivate others and hold people to account
A proactive, energetic approach and the ability to work independently
Sound judgement and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and levels
It’s a bonus if you also bring:
Previous project experience (helpful but not essential—practical capability and drive matter most)
