About Us

The Role – Activities Coordinator - working 12 hours per week from 10am to 4pm on a Saturday and a Sunday on a weekly basis
A day in the life of an Activities Coordinator
· Companionship- providing support, companionship, communication and engagement with residents
· Creating activities - you will be in charge of designing an engaging activities plan both internally and with external resources.
· Event planning – our Activities Coordinators are involved with planning events such as summer BBQs or Christmas parties for our residents.
· Resident interaction – you will always be in conversation with residents to see which activities they want to do and bringing them to fruition.
· External communications – as an Activities Coordinator you will be speaking with external entertainers or businesses to organise visits from entertainers or arranging for visits to businesses for the residents.
· Mobility - supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility through activities such as Zumba or ballroom or even things like balloon tennis.
· Social activities- trips out, social engagements and activities within the home for all abilities.
· Team support - helping new or existing colleagues through shadowing and teamwork, and supporting the smooth running of the home when required

· A minimum of 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK, please note: Under new guidance we are unable to accept skilled or student visas
· Caring, positive, and reliable individuals
· Previous care experience is not essential, as fully funded training is provided
