Training Centre Administrator Apprentice

Portland, Dorset - Apprenticeship Salary £8,632 per annum (£4.15 per hour)

We have an exciting career opportunity to join a rapidly growing training company as an Apprentice. This is a great opportunity to join Agincare as an Apprentice and start to to develop a long term career with us.

You will support the smooth running of the office function for a national training provider undertaking a range of training related administrative duties. You will be responsible for diary management and course bookings and also the first point of contact for new and existing employees and learners.

What will you do as a Training Centre Administrator Apprentice?

  • Collate apprenticeship applications and contact to book onto induction programmes;
  • Maintain the training calendar for short courses and book new delegates onto the next available courses;
  • Schedule assessments by liaising with apprentices and external bodies;
  • Schedule and book all internal assessment and exams for apprentices in a timely fashion;
  • Collate all apprentice and employer survey data;
  • Collate monthly attendance registers;
  • Conduct stock takes of all stationery supplies and order new supplies needed;
  • Support the Compliance team with any administrative duties and audits;
  • Be accountable for the external post on a daily basis;
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by answering all incoming calls and greeting all visitors to the centre;
  • Collate and prepare learning resources ready for the delivery team;
  • Send all the relevant information to the new candidates promptly;
  • Complete any other tasks which are required.

Job Requirements

What do you need for the role of Training Centre Administrator Apprentice?

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a good customer service manner and be willing to develop these skills;
  • Have a strong passion for learning new skills, knowledge and behaviours within the workplace;
  • Be computer literate, especially with a good practical knowledge of MS Office;
  • Demonstrate strong organisational skills & a structured approach;
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage their workload effectively;
  • Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Demonstrate excellent teamworking ability;
  • Be proactive and self-motivated and likes to be busy.
