Job Description

Social Care is at the front line in the current health crisis and as a Senior Care Assistant at Agincare a leading Social Care provider in the UK, you will be a key worker, supporting the health of the nation as we take in new residents from the NHS freeing beds up for those in need.

You will have Social Care experience and relevant qualifications. You may be someone who has left social care and now wants to move back in to the sector where your skills can really make a difference in these difficult times.  Or you could be a current Senior Care Assistant or Care Assistant seeking a new challenge and responsibilities.

You will need the right to work in the UK what matters is, like us, you are passionate and motivated to help and support others, working in a fantastic team in our Care Homes.

You can earn £9.50 per hour as a Senior Care Assistant working nights in Chalgrove Care & Nursing Home.

The Senior Healthcare Assistant role will involve:

  • Leading a team of carers
  • Monitoring and driving standards of care
  • Safe and accurate medication administration
  • Liaising with outside professionals to ensure residents live well
  • Mentoring and supervisions of carers
  • Reviewing care plans and assessments

Job Requirements

What an Excellent Senior Healthcare Assistant Looks Like 

You must have:

  • A caring nature and desire to make a difference in someone’s life
  • Previous experience in a Social Care setting
  • Excellent communication and customer skills, at all levels
  • NVQ3 or above or other professional qualification in Care
  • The right to work in the UK
  • A good level of English – both written and spoken
  • Approachable and supportive to individuals
