Job Description

Senior Care Assistant Required (Nights).

Gainsborough Care Home is seeking someone who is enthusiastic and motivated to excel in the role of Care Assistant during the night.

The Senior Care Assistant role will involve:

  • Leading a team of carers
  • Monitoring and driving standards of care
  • Safe and accurate medication administration
  • Liaising with outside professionals to ensure residents live well
  • Mentoring and supervisions of carers
  • Reviewing care plans and assessments

Job Requirements

What an Excellent Senior Care Assistant Looks Like 

You must have:

  • A caring nature and desire to make a difference in someone’s life
  • Previous experience in a Social Care setting
  • Excellent communication and customer skills, at all levels
  • NVQ3 or above or other professional qualification in Care
  • The right to work in the UK
  • A good level of English – both written and spoken
  • Approachable and supportive to individuals
