Area: Derby / Region: Derbyshire

Basic Salary: Up to £43k

Bonus: Long service bonus available

Job Description

Agincare has been operating for over 30 years and has grown to become a leading provider of care with a wide range of service provision including care and nursing homes across Dorset, Swindon, Surrey, West Sussex, Kent & Derby. Our growth within 2018 will see Agincare Homes Holdings own and manage over 20 care homes, as well as complex care respite and day care services. Agincare Group offers further community care services, with home care and live-in care locations across the country. We strive for outstanding care at all times and are seeing this reflected in our quality ratings from CQC.

We are looking for an exceptionally experienced Registered Manager who will be responsible for inspiring and supporting our team in the Derby area to deliver high quality care in our care home and a real sense of home for those who live there, as well as for their families and friends. Agincare provides an excellent framework of support and information, but you will be a key link between residents, staff, local services, and us; therefore, strong communication and leadership skills are required.

Job Requirements

You will efficiently and effectively manage the day-to-day running of the care home in accordance with legislation, CQC requirements, good practice and Agincare’s own company policies, ensuring the strong and supportive management of a local care team. There is an expectation of some travel within the Derby area and, at times, you will be required to visit our head office in Dorset for training and meetings. This also means that a clean, full UK driving licence is essential.

This is a great opportunity to join an established and longstanding care home team who work hard, with flexibility, are passionate about social care and quality care provision, and have some fun along the way! In turn, you will find excellent support networks and great career progression opportunities within a sustainable and quality organisation with strong values.

Please contact the HR Department on 01305 825417 for an informal discussion or apply here.

Applications to be received by 28th August.
