Role Responsibility of a Maintenance Person:

The purpose of the role of Maintenance Person is to be a multi-skilled operative who will assist with the daily running of the Home/Homes by becoming an effective and involved member of the team including carrying out various odd jobs such as performing repairs, maintaining property, performing renovations as and when required and tending to the grounds.

Job Requirements

What an excellent Maintenance Person looks like

  • Team Player
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Good Organisational skills
  • Two years’ experience of site maintenance and improvement or similar.
  • Good communication skills (written and oral)
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations
  • Ability to complete basic records of work and the expenditure incurred.
  • Proven joinery, plumbing, electrical, painting and decorating skills.
  • Full driving licence and own transport.
