Locality Manager

Agincare Enable have an exciting opportunity at for a Locality Manager based around the Medway area.

Agincare Enable is an exciting new service supporting individuals to develop their independence in specialist community-based services. 

We are seeking a dynamic individual to take a leading role in this project. As Locality Manager you will be the Registered Manager, managing the day to day activities of a growing cluster of Agincare Enable Services. 

This position is for someone with previous experience of delivering services that improve the lives of people who may have a learning disability, an Autistic Spectrum Condition, mental health issues or physical disability which may present in a complex way which challenges support.

Job Requirements

What an Excellent Locality Manager Looks Like

You must have:

  • A commitment to delivering high quality outcome focused support
  • An ability to manage relationships with all stakeholders
  • Act as Registered Manager for the services
  • Demonstrable up to date knowledge of the care sector
  • A Management qualification (RN, RMA, L&M) or willingness to work toward one.
  • Previous experience of managing a diverse team
  • Previous experience in recruiting staff, maintaining staffing levels and all aspects of staff management
  • An understanding of business processes
  • Knowledge of the Care Act 2014
  • Understanding of Mental Health legislation and of Mental Capacity processes
  • Understanding of Wellbeing in the context of Complex needs
  • Experience of and understanding of principles of PBS Positive Behavioural Support
