Health and Social Care Assessor

Location           : Remote working with delivery across the South Coast.  Head office based in Portland.

Salary               : Circa £21,000 - £23,000

Hours               : 40


We are looking for an experienced individual within health & social care who has a passion for training, quality and standards, to join our team in Training Now. Training Now is an approved apprenticeship provider and a subsidiary of Agincare Group, a leading health and social care provider who has been operating for over 30 years.

The Role

Acting as an ambassador for Training Now, you will be responsible for creating an individualised, unique learner journey for a caseload of learners, recognising and tailoring the delivery to match their identified needs and requirements. You will do this through conducting progressive visits with every learner every month and supporting, motivating and encouraging them to achieve within the agreed timeframes. You will have a clear set of KPI’s and will manage your own diary to ensure you achieve these


Job Requirements

The successful candidate will be organised, structured, be able to manage their workload effectively and work on their own initiative. The right person will have previous experience in training and apprenticeship delivery.  Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are required and the ability to demonstrate integrity, be trustworthy and a role model to learners.

You must possess high written and spoken English, A1 L3 Award in Assessing Candidates and it is desirable that you have IQA V1 L4 Award, PTLLS L3 or other relevant professional qualification.
