Job Description

Field Care Supervisor required to cover our busy locations based in Hayling Island and Totton!

We need your expertise

Are you experienced in the social care sector?

Do you excel in writing person centred care plans and in your practical knowledge of CQC regulations?

Are you looking for a role which will enable you to use this experience to mentor and motivate a local team of care workers?

By supervising and supporting our care workers you will be ensuring our clients are receiving excellent care from our well trained, competent and compassionate team.

With your experience you will be ensuring people who use our services receive effective, responsive, safe care and that their needs and outcomes are met.

The Role

  • You will be required to undertake the assessment/re-assessment of the care needs and associated risk management of our service users.
  • Ensure that care plans reflect accurately the service users care requirements, goals and aspirations.
  • Be the consistent field and community based main point of contact for day-to-day support, guidance and information to all allocated clients and staff.
  • Be responsible for monitoring and checking the health, well-being and welfare of clients and staff by using face to face visits, telephone calls and by checking records.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours when required and to provide on-call support when required on a rota basis. 
  • Be prepared to go into a placement in an emergency situation for a temporary period of time whilst the emergency is resolved.

Job Requirements

You are passionate about providing the best in community care; you thrive on delivering care to an impeccable standard and take pride in building relationships with Care staff to gain their commitment and reliability.

You will have previous experience in social care with a minimum of NVQ Level 2 or other professional qualification in care; full valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
