Key Responsibilities of the Deputy Care Home Manager:
- The Deputy Care Home Manager will support the Registered Care Home Manager in the day to day activities of running the home.
- Work closely with the Registered Care Home Manager to ensure Gainsborough Care home is recognised for being a great place to live and work.
- Assume full responsibility for the day to day running of the Home in the absence of the Registered Care Home Manager.
- Manage a team including Care Managers, Care Workers and ancillary staff, ensuring best practice is carried out.
- Review the care needs of residents by their changing needs and by contractual requirements.
- Monitor and ensure that the general standards of hygiene and cleanliness in relation to the premises and equipment are maintained.
