Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Credit Controller to join the Finance team on a full time, permanent basis in Portland.  Reporting to the Senior Company Accountant, the Credit Controller will be responsible for a number of day to day functions in this fast paced, diverse environment.  You will be supporting the maintenance of cash flow into the group and minimising bad debt by primarily chasing overdue accounts both from both councils and private customers.

You will be joining the Head Office team of this growing local business, based on the waterfront at Castletown, Portland.

 

Job Requirements

You will be a committed, organised, hardworking person; who is accurate, numerate, computer literate, and used to managing tight deadlines.  You will have previous experience of working in Credit Control, must be numerate, accurate and computer literate, and be keen to learn at a fast pace.  Good IT skills, utilising both excel and databases to facilitate the role are essential.

 

This is a 40 hour contract, Monday to Friday 08.30-17.00.
