You can earn circa £44,000 as a Clinical Deputy Manager (RGN) at Fulford Care and Nursing Home, Littlehampton, this supernumerary role is full time (42 hours per week).

Key Responsibilities of the Clinical Deputy Care Home Manger (RGN):

  • The Clinical Deputy Manager will support the Registered Care Home Manager in the day to day activities of running the home.
  • Work closely with the Registered Care Home Manager to ensure Fulford Care and Nursing Home is recognised for being a great place to live and work.
  • Assume full responsibility for the day to day running of the Home in the absence of the Registered Care Home Manager.
  • Manage a team including Registered Nurses, Care Managers, Care Workers and ancillary staff, ensuring best practice is carried out.
  • Review the care needs of residents by their changing needs and by contractual requirements.
  • Monitor and ensure that the general standards of hygiene and cleanliness in relation to the premises and equipment are maintained.

Job Requirements

What a Clinical Deputy Manager (RGN) Looks Like 

You must have:

  • A current NMC pin
  • Nursing qualification
  • At least two year’s post grad nursing experience
  • NVQ 3 or above in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Previous management/supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety rules, relating to Care Homes.
  • A caring nature and desire to make a difference in someone’s life
  • Demonstrate up to date knowledge of the Care Sector, the running of a Care Home and the regulatory framework.
  • Experience of working with vulnerable client groups
  • The right to work in the UK
  • A good level of English – both written and oral
  • Approachable and supportive to individuals
