Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Accounts Assistant/ Cashier to join an established growing team on a full time, permanent basis in Portland. Reporting to the Management Accountant, the role will be responsible for a number of day to day functions in this fast paced, diverse environment.

Responsibilities will include:

Reviewing bank statements, including administration and allocation of sales receipts, investigating anomalies within the statements and completing any daily banking required.

Bank reconciliation across multiple companies and bank accounts, on a daily basis, working with others within all areas of the accounts team where anomalies arise.

Assist with the administration of petty cash returns, including checking and reconciling expenditure, ensuring everything have been accurately recorded and the totals balance accordingly.

Assist purchase ledger with processing of invoices, chasing for authorisation, payments and remittances.

Job Requirements

You will have previous experience of working in Accounts/Admin, must be numerate, accurate and computer literate, and be keen to learn at a fast pace.

This is a 40 hour contract, Monday to Friday 08.30-17.00.
