Responsibility of an Assessment Centre Manager:

  • To oversee and be responsible for the day to day operation of our 37 discharge to assess beds at Queensferry Gardens Assessment Centre (Queensferry Court) reporting to the Registered Manager
  • Experience of carrying out pre-admission assessments
  • Writing care plans
  • Completing risk assessments
  • Knowledge of completing Mental capacity assessments and Best interest decisions

Job Requirements

An Excellent Assessment Centre Manager looks like:

  • Experience with in a similar environment essential
  • Ability to multitask and work with in a high pressured, fast pace environment
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and work to KPI’s
  • Must be able to work alongside a multidisciplinary team
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety rules relating to Care Homes
  • A good level of English – both written and verbal
  • Approachable and supportive to individuals
  • A caring nature and desire to make a difference in someone’s life
