Job Description

You can earn up to £25,000 per annum as an experienced full time 2nd Chef working at Gorseway Park on Hayling Island,

Role Responsibility of an experienced 2nd Chef: 

To ensure the preparation and the delivery of all meals within the Home,  work closely with the head chef to prepare varied menus in association with the manager and feedback from residents ensuring that any special dietary requirements are catered for.

To ensure that meals are presented and prepared to an excellent standard and quality. To maintain cooking and cleaning regimes for all areas of the kitchen in line with the Health and Safety and Company guidelines to ensure safe working practice within the home.


Job Requirements

You must have:

  • NVQ2 in Food Preparation
  • Knowledge of Allergens
  • Ability to work flexibly
  • Demonstrate ability to be a team player
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations
