Job Title: Operations Manager (Care Homes)

Reference Number: 006375

Area: Derby / Region: Derbyshire

Basic Salary: Up to £55k

Job Description

Be part of an Outstanding team!

Agincare has been operating for over 30 years and has grown to become a leading provider of care with a wide range of service provision, including care and nursing homes across Dorset, Swindon, Surrey, West Sussex, Kent & Derby. Our growth within 2019 will see Agincare Homes Holdings own and manage over 20 care homes, as well as complex care respite and day care services. We strive for outstanding care at all times and are seeing this reflected in our quality ratings from CQC.

We now have a new opportunity for an experienced Care Home professional to join our growing team and help with exciting new project developments.

As Operations Manager, covering the Midlands region, you’ll be responsible for inspiring and supporting your Registered Managers and their local teams to deliver high-quality care and a real sense of home for those who live there and their families and friends. Agincare provides an excellent framework of support and information but you will be a key link between us and local services, and therefore strong communication and leadership skills are required.

Job Requirements

Whilst it is preferable that you are based in the Midlands, there is an expectation of travel both within an allocated region, and at times to other regions, including to our head office in Dorset. This also means that a clean, full UK driving licence is essential.

You will need to understand and work within regulatory and statutory requirements and ensure that homes meet each of them, including fire, health and safety, COSHH, employment and compliance with the appropriate Acts. Contribution to setting of budgets, ensuring occupancy levels remain high and quality of service high is expected and you will need strong leadership and inter-personal skills, knowledge of HR procedures and a positive staff management approach.

This is a great opportunity to join an established and long-standing team, who work hard and with flexibility, are passionate about social care and quality care provision and have some fun along the way! In turn, you will find excellent support networks and great career progression opportunities within a sustainable and quality organisation with strong values.

To be considered for this role you will need proven experience within the health & social care sector.
