 We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional Care Home Manager to lead the team at Badbury Care Home, located in the beautiful historic market town of Dorchester.  Badbury Care Home is rated GOOD by the CQC and offers high quality residential care, support and assistance in a comfortable, relaxed and traditional environment

 Responsibility of a Care Home Manager

To efficiently and effectively manage the day to day running of the Care Home, ensuring the Home provides and maintains the highest levels of care and service in accordance with the Company’s Values, policies and procedures. 

To actively promote the Home, develop the business, sustain profitability and ensure that at all times relevant legislative requirements are adhered to.

Job Requirements

 

What an Excellent Care Home Manager Looks Like

You must have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience of managing or having budgetary control
  • Demonstrate up to date knowledge of the Care Sector, the running of a Care Home and the regulatory framework.
  • Experience of working with vulnerable client groups
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety rules relating got Care Homes
  • A good level of English – both written and verbal
  • Approachable and supportive to individuals
  • Previous experience in recruiting staff, maintaining staffing levels and all aspects of staff management
  • A caring nature and desire to make a difference in someone’s life
